Amy Marshall

Accessibility, Ops and First Aid

Amy always seems to be busy and is happiest that way. Amy thought that shielding would mean having time for reading and hobbies but soon online meetings and teaching helped fill her diary. Amy has been able to lead her Qigong group via video calls but this wasn’t so practical for wheelchair badminton!

Amy blames her Dad for getting her into the Discworld - he gave her a copy of 'TCoM' when she started University. Amy's first convention was 2012 where she soon became friends with Ops as a volunteer doctor. At the 2014 con a purple-shirted person referred to her as “Mrs Future Ops” and by 2018 that prediction had come true.  In addition to Ops Amy also is involved in accessibility, first aid and answering many of the emails sent to info@dwcon.org
