Why do the hotel rooms cost what they do?
All available rooms at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel have been block-booked for the Convention. This means that if you'd like to book a room at these hotels during the Convention, you will only be able to achieve this by going through the designated booking system.
We negotiate extensively with the venue to find the best value prices we can for our members, including any discounts on food, drink and other services. If you found lower prices online, these are probably promotional rates which are only available for a few rooms. Our block-booking, however, ensures that all our members benefit equally from the negotiated room rates and other discounts.
Not all Hotel staff will be aware of the arrangements we have made for room prices or services. Please keep this in mind if you contact them directly.
