General Hotel Bookings are opening
All the requests for families, groups, split-billing or accessibility requests have now been collated, massaged, reviewed and sent to the Hilton, so those members should be hearing directly from the Hilton this week.
During the week, all Attending Members will have an email with instructions on how to book your rooms directly with the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel. Those members who have already requested their rooms will also receive the email, although they should ignore it, except possibly for the Breakfasts link.
The email will include three links and you must use only these to book your rooms at our special reduced rates. If you book directly with the hotel you will not be entitled to these rates. The links are for single bookings or double bookings with a single bill for the room.
The three links will be:
- Room-only bookings
- Bed and breakfast bookings
- Breakfast only bookings (where one person wants breakfast but their room share doesn't, or if you want breakfast on some mornings and not others)
The Hilton has enough rooms to meet our needs, but it will be helpful to book your room sooner rather than later. They will take a fully refundable deposit equal to one night's stay (including breakfast if appropriate).
We will post on the website and on Facebook to say when the emails have been sent out. If you don't get the email please email hotel@dwcon.org including your name and membership number and they will send you the links.
Important
- Please do not share these links with anyone, because this could result in members not being able to book a discounted room
- If you have already requested a room by completing one of the questionnaires for families, groups, split-billing or accessibility requests then please don't use the links - your booking is already in hand and the Hilton will be in touch with you.
